Summary
Young & Global Partners advises an
Asian governmental organization to
track global environmental
regulations impacting its domestic
companies and to help them maintain
international competitiveness.
Young & Global Partners has been
working with the client to develop a
global tracking framework and system
to monitor ever changing and growing
environmental regulations in the
world. |
Background
As an export-oridented country,
where most of domestic companies
generate 50 - 70% of the annual
revenue from exported markets, the
Asian government has enormous
challenges and needs to read
international trends impacting its
major industries, in particular, on
international environmental
regulations.
Stricter environmental regulations
and standards of foreign countries
require advanced technological
solutions, which may be developed in
4 - 8 years, from domestic
companies. When a domestic company
missed an early signal of
potentially significant
environmental regulations (e.g. EU
ELV, RoHS, WEEE, REACH, EuP, US
TSCA, China RoHS), it has
experienced huge business
difficulties not only internally but
along the global supply chain.
Young & Global Partners are
contracted to help the client
develop a global regulatory tracking
system in which the client can
monitor, store and process major
environmental regulations throughout
the world.
