(Tomas) Yoon is Leader of EHS+S

plus Security) Regulatory Compliance
Team in NEOECOS (previously, LG
Environmental Strategy Institute),
Asian Environmental Compliance
Leader in Korea Environmental
Council in Europe (KECE) based in
Brussels and an Industrial and
Environmental policy and regulatory
advisor with the Korean government.
He is a legal advisor for a national
security service department in
regard of international export
control regime and strategic items.
He has extensive experience in
analyzing environmental, health,
safety and national security
legislation, and the regulatory
aspects of strategic environmental
management systems for large
companies with operations in Korea,
US and the European Union.
As an Asian environmental compliance
of the KECE, Duk-Chan Yoon report
information on regulation-making,
review the minutes of proceeding and
documents and deliver the position
of Korean industry to Europe, to
advocates interests of Korean
companies in the course of European
policy- and law-making process.
Prior to joining NEOECOS and KECE,
Mr. Yoon worked for the Ministry of
Commerce, Industry and Energy of
Korea (currently, Ministry of
Knowledge Economy), Korea
Environmental Industry and
Technology Institute(KEITI) and
Korea Environmental Institute(KEI)
where he researched climate change
policies and energy programs and the
interactions of international
environmental agreements and trade
rules led by the World Trade
Organization (WTO). |
